age, Robert-Arnett excelled in fine-art from his
yearbook days to modern-expressionism in
college. He created a respite for his
fine-art in order to care for his family
and to maintain his commercial art

Now, and in the recent past years, the
artist has returned to fine-art, first
with still life, then portraits, and
landscapes with a passion for desert
subjects. This passion, in particular,
features abandoned homesteads and cars.
His oil paintings, with a contemporary
realism style, both plein-air and studio,
makes five days a week fly by leaving him
wanting more.
The artist treasures the old abandoned
Mojave Desert homes from days past. With
great resolve to preserve the crumbling
structures before they return to dust and
mineral, Robert is capturing their
historic significance with oil and canvas.
Robert-Arnett maintains a studio and
gallery in Covina, California. His second
home, in Twenty-Nine Palms, California, is
the setting for on-going showings and
annual tours.
